Steps to make Stuffed Moong Dal Paratha:
- First we will drain the water from the Moong Dal and in pressure cooker add the moong dal and 1/4 cup water and salt to taste.Pressure cook the Moong Dal for 2 whistle and turn off the flame. Once the cooker cool down,we will drain the extra water from dal if it is.
- Now till the cooker cool down,take a bowl and add wheat flour,oil and salt and make a dough like a roti and keep it aside.
- Heat a small pan with oil on medium flame, add the ginger, garlic green chilli and saute for 1 minute and add chopped onion and let it cook for 3-4 minutes until it become soft.
- Add the boiled dal, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt,lemon juice,garam masala and mix well.Cook it for 2-3 mins and turn off the flame.Please make sure your stuffing should be dry. Once the stuffing get cool down,add chopped corriander and give it a good mix.
- Now divide the dough in medium size ball and roll the small roti and keep the stuffing in the center and gather the edges and roll it like aloo paratha.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the Stuffed Yellow Moong Dal And Onion Paratha in ghee until cooked through, and has golden brown spots on both sides.
- Serve it hot with Curd/Pickle or anything which you like.
