Instructions to make Cireng Sayur / Fried Tapioca and Veggie Cakes:
- Add the oil in a frying pan. Stir fry the veggies until soft. Set aside.
- Add the tapioca for the base, water, seasonings and the veggies in a pan. Mix until combined.
- Put the pan on the stove, then turn it on while mixing the base mixture.
- Keep mixing until it becomes glue like and doesn't stick to the pan. Take out the heat.
- Mix the base mixture immediately with the other tapioca with a spatula to combine, careful because it is very hot.
- Then with your hands, shape them into patties until all done.
- Deep fry with medium low heat until crispy. Don't use high heat, the will explode, so be very careful.
