- In a thick bottomed pan add 3 cups of milk keeping the flame low.
- When the milk starts to boil, add the grinded rice paste and stir it well.
- Next add sugar stir well and cook on low flame stirring in short intervals.
- After few minutes you will notice the mixture will thickened and the rice is cooked.
- Switch off the flame do not over cook as it will end up burning the base.
- Add few saffron strands along with sliced alomonds and pistachios and allow the mixture to cool down completely.
- Once the phirni has cooled down add mango puree and mix it very well.
- Now add mango phirni in glass bowls garnish with sliced almonds and pistachios.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30-40 mins and serve chilled!
