Steps to make Mahamri:
  1. Get your ingredients ready
  2. Sift your flour
  3. Add in your other ingredients apart from the milk
  4. Mix well till everything is incorporated
  5. Add some coconut powder to your milk
  6. Add the milk a little at a time into your dough till it is well formed
  7. Apply some flour on your working surface and knead your dough
  8. Oil your bowl and cover you dough with a clean cloth. Put it in a warm place and let it proof and double in size for about 30 min-1 hr
  9. Your dough has proofed and doubled in size
  10. Deflate it and cut into balls
  11. Take one ball, roll it out and cut it into four. Cover it and let it proof again for a few minutes
  12. Do the same with the rest of the dough
  13. Heat your oil and prepare to deep fry them
  14. Gently put them in your hot oil and let them cook on one side
  15. Once they are brown, turn to the other side
  16. Place them on a paper towel
  17. Serve with tea or coconut beans… Or whatever you please
