Hello friends welcome to my channel AMAR RANNAGHAR. JALPAI CHUTNY is sweet and sour dish. Ingredients olive sugar salt mustard oil. Jalpai, the Indian olive, is an under-researched fruit which is used to make sweet and sour recipes.
Instructions to make Jalpai Chutney (Ceylon Olive Chutney):
- Heat a wok and dry roast all the ingredients written under roasted masala and grind it to a smooth powder.
- Peel the Jalpai and boil it in a container by adding some water.
- When it become soft, remove it from the flame and remove the water.
- Smash the Jalpai altogether and remove the seeds from inside.
- Heat the oil in a wok, add the dry red chilli, saute it for a while and then add the smashed Jalpai.
- Add the salt and the sugar and add 1/2 cup of water. Mix it very well.
- When you get the desired thick consistency, add the roasted masala and mix it well.
- Remove it from the flame, serve chilled.
