  10. Make ready 2 tsp ghee (clarified butter)
  11. Prepare 1/3 tsp Shahjeera
  12. Make ready Salt as per ur taste

Steps to make Prawn Sahi Biryani in my style:
  1. I prepared the cooked masala like you all do for your Currys at home. I made in a larger quantity, keep in Jar, store in refrigerator to save time.
  2. Soak Basmati rice and chana dal in water for 1/2 hour. Wash, drain water and keep in a stainer.
  3. Heat a pressure cooker with ghee. Add sahjeera to crackle. Put chopped onion and fry till translucent.
  4. Mix green chilli, potato, tomato, fried prawns and cooked homemade masala in the pressure cooker and cook for 2 minutes in low medium heat.
  5. Then add 2 n1/2 cup of water, biryani masala powder and adjust the salt as the homemade masala paste has salt, turmeric and other dry masala also.
  6. Mix everything properly in cooker after adding Rice and dal. Cook till 2 Whistles and open after it cools down.
  7. Yummy and mouth watering Prawn Sahi Biryani is ready to serve. - Serve hot with curd and salad. - Thanks
