I have a secret I've been keeping. In the midst of this recent wintery weather, which for some of you has meant snow, I have been chowing down on fresh, local strawberries. - Second layer: Cream sugar and cream cheese. Fold in cool whip. Spread mixture over crust. Top cream cheese mixture with strawberry slices.
- Third layer: In saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in water. Cook until thick, then stir in jello until thoroughly blended. Cool. Spoon glaze over strawberry slices. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving.
