  16. Take 1/4 cup Carrot chopped -
  17. Prepare 1/4 cup Beans chopped long -
  18. Make ready 2 Potato chopped in big pieces -
  19. Take 1/4 cup Green peas -
  20. Make ready 2 cups Rice - (I used sona masuri rice but you can use basmati rice too).
  21. Get 4 cups Water - .

Main flavour of pulao is with green paste which is blend of ginger garlic,coconut,chillies and onion.-This can be served with some. Instructions to make Mint Pulao:
  1. First grind all the ingredients under "For grinding/paste".
  2. Wash the rice and keep it aside.
  3. Take a pressure cooker/pan. Add in the cooking oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add in the mustard seeds. After it crackles, add in the curry leaves and fry till moisture is removed.
  5. Now add cardamon seeds, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and saute for few mins.
  6. Add chopped onions and the ground paste and fry few a min.
  7. Now add all the other veggies (green peas, carrot, beans, potato, beans) and saute for few 5 mins.
  8. Add in salt and water and once water starts boiling, add in the washed rice.
  9. Pressure cook this (3 whistles)
  10. Once done, mix it once again before you serve! (It goes well with cucumber and tomato raita).
