- Soak 1 cup Urad dal for 3 to 4 hours.
- Grind it with little water to make smooth paste.
- The batter should not become too thin…add 2 3 drops of orange color, 2 tbps corn starch and stir the batter for 2 min till it becomes fluffy.
- Make a cone using Ziploc bag or use a small hole plastic bottle.
- Deep fry the imartis from both the sides.
- Make a one string consistency sugar syrup. (1 cup sugar + 1/2 cup waater)
- Dip the imartis in syrup for 2 min.
- Make sure syrup is warm. - Take out from syrup and serve.
