- Take besan in a bowl. add salt, red chilli Powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, gingergarlic paste, Turmeric powder, add sufficient water and mix well to make a smooth paste.
- Place a leaf on the worktop shinyside facing downwards.Apply the paste evenly all over.
- Place another leaf over it but with it's tempering end in the opposite direction of the first Apply paste over this.
- Fold in the four edges and gently roll into cylinder apply paste to seal whenever required.
- Heat water in steamer.place the rolls in a steamer container.close the lid and steam for 15 mins.
- Cut into half inch thick slice.Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry patras till crispy.
