- Add 1 tsp turmeric powder and let the paste thicken. Add the roasted vaniya and 1 cup chopped potatoes. Saute.
- Add around 2 cups of water, cover and let the potatoes cook.
- After around 10-15 minutes when the potatoes cook, add 1 cup tomato puree, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tbsp red chilli powder and salt as per taste.
- Cover and let the tomato puree cook. Add 2-3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves. Mix and serve hot.
