Feta cheese is my favourite and I love to have it in salads, samosa, Fatayer etc. So I tried homemade Feta cheese. Very easy and packet friendly as well as very quick recipe. We can make this cheese specially if by chance the milk curdles by it's own.

Steps to make Feta Cheese Samosas:
  1. In a sauce pan bring milk to boil. Add lemon juice or vinegar and give a whisk. Turn the flame to low and wait till the curd separates and leaves water
  2. Now strain the curd in any strainer/ muslin cloth/ thin cloth through which water can be easily drained.
  3. Now wash it under tap water with your hands to remove the taste of lemon/ vinegar. Wash thoroughly and then drain off excess water. But let it be a little big soggy.
  4. At this point you can refrigerate or freeze to use later.
  5. Now remove it in a bowl and add the flavours that you want to add to it. Mix well. Feta Cheese is ready.
  6. Now add 1 1/2 tsp of cheese in samosa and prepare all the samosas.
  7. Deep fry and serve hot.

Add the onion and cook until softened. The feta cheese melts into the spinach leaving you with a mellow tasting samosa complemented by the delicate flavour of the dhania and the cumin. You can include more chili to your desired taste and enjoy every bite! For the pastry, mix the plain flour, self-raising flour and butter. Add a splash of warm water and knead well until it makes an elastic dough.
