The ingredients needed to make Pudina Pulao/Mint rice:
- Take 2 green chilies
- Take 1 inch ginger or paste
- Prepare 3 small pods garlic or 1 to 2 large pods
- Prepare 1 large onion chopped

- Prepare Handful of pudina leaves and coriander leaves (equal amount)
- Get 1/2 ginger
- Prepare 2 green chilli
- Prepare 2-3 garlic cloves
- Get 2 tbsp grated coconut
- Prepare 1/2 tablespoon cumin
- Take as per your requirements water for grinding
Cooked onion and mint puree with some whole spices and mixed it with cooked rice. Light, aromatic and immensely flavorful rice dish that calls for handful of ingredients. The mint flavor is subtly infused in the rice without being overpowering. Tinted with a light green shade, smelling of warmth and sunshine, pudina pulao makes for an endearing meal to serve family and.
Instructions to make Pudina Pulao/Mint rice:
- For preparation:- soak half cup basamati rice for 15minuets before cooking
- First of all in a cooker heat 2 tbsp ghee add cumin seeds and whole spices (cinnamon,1 bay leaf, 1-2 green cardamon, 2 cloves)
- Then saute them on medium flame till they become aromat.
- Then add sliced onion & saute along with add chopped tomatoes & saute.
- Then add vegetables of your choice, I have added (3,4 chopped beans, cauliflower,1/4 cup peas,1/2 capsicum,1 chopped carrot.
- Further add prepared Masala and saute. Then add soaked basmati rice.
- Stir it continuously in a medium flame and properly, then add two cups of water,salt and mix well and pressure cook for two whistle.
