Now take 6-7 cup water and coriander leaves, mix everything well. I will not pressure cook the khichdi now. just cover the cooker with it's lid but remove whistle and gaskette. leave a littke space to release air. Now let the khichdi cook on low flame.
  5. When the khichdi is almost done. add kasoori methi and garam masala powder to it. Mix, Cover and cook little more.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in another pan. let splutter 1 tsp cumin seeds. Add Red chilli. switch off the gas. let it cool and then add 1 tsp kashmiri lal mirch powder. Pour this on khichdi and garnish with some coriander leaves. Now the aromatic masala khichdi is ready to serve and eat.
