- Take all the ingredients of chena balls preparation in a mixing bowl. - - Mash well and make a smooth dough. Divide the dough and make lemon size balls. Press lightly to get flat chena balls.
- Heat oil and deep fry them to golden brown in low to medium flame. Keep aside the fried chena.
- In a kadhai heat oil+ghee. Splutter cumin seeds. Add onion and sauté till golden brown. - - Now add ginger-garlic paste, chopped tomatoes and red chilli powder. Mix and cook till oil separates from masala. Mix green peas to cook then.
- Mix all the rest dry ingredients, chopped potato chunks and 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook till water evaporate.
- Add 2 cups of water to the potato masala and bring to boil. Mix the prepared chena balls and simmer for 1 minute. - Delicious Chena Curry is ready to serve with Rice,roti, parantha and poori. - Thanks
