Steps to make Dal Vada:
  1. Finely chop onion and ginger and set them aside.
  2. Take a blender jar, add bengal gram, curry leaves and green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, curry leaves and blend to a coarse paste. Scrape the sides of the blender jar in between.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a bowl, add salt, onion, ginger and mix well.
  4. Dampen your palms with water and flatten them slightly between your palms and set aside.
  5. Heat sufficient oil in a Kadai, deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  6. Serve hot with green chutney.
