Generally Kachalu Chaat is made by using ripe gvava's. So, I used fresh and organic guva's to make this chaat. This chaat is freshly made during Ramadan at Iftaar time in Hyderabad. A famous street food from North India.

Steps to make Kachalu chaat:
  1. Wash it properly and keep for boiling in pressure cooker, when it starts whistling, put the flame on low and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
  2. Allow them to cool down and peel it off. Take a bowl and cut into small pieces.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder, roasted cumin seeds powder, Amchur powder and mix it well. Add lemon juice and sweet tamarind chutney.
  4. Garnish it with mint leaves and Kachalu chat is ready to serve, enjoy it with your family and friends.
