- Now add all the masalas and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
- Add coconut and mix well adding sugar
- Pour the daal and allow it to boilqdd nuts and raisins and remove from heat
- Now take small portion of the dough and roll into small puri
- Deep fry and serve with daal
Cholar Dal or Bengali Style Chana Dal. Alternatively, You can boil the lentil in an open pot. Fill a heavy-duty pot with water, add the soaked lentil, sprinkle salt and turmeric powder, and set it on the stove over high heat. Bengali Style Cholar Dal is a Bengali dish prepared from Chana Dal, ghee, coconut and other spices. This spicy goodness is packed with nutrition as chana is high in fibre and protein.
