- Let it boil in low flame for some time (10-15 minutes). The bitter gourd once well cooked should not be bitter, and will taste nice, Acquiring taste from the tamarind juice.
- Now add the cooked toor dal and let it further cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Now add the masala (ground paste) to the mix and cook for 5 minutes.
