  10. Make ready 1 tsp jeera
  11. Get 1/2 tsp chilly red powder (to taste)
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  13. Prepare 1 tsp Kasuri methi (dried methi powder)
  14. Get to taste Salt
  15. Get 1 tsp garam masala
  16. Get Water (as needed)
  17. Take 2 tbsps ghee (can reduce as per your need)

It is usually a special occasion dish. Shahi paneer can be served with any Add paneer and cover the pan. Simmer for a few minutes over medium-low heat, till gravy is slightly thick in consistency. Remove from heat, add. finally, enjoy shahi paneer with roti or garlic naan.

Instructions to make Low fat Shahi Paneer:
  1. Grind tomatoes, onion, ginger and green chillies into puree
  2. Heat ghee in kadhai, add all whole spices, jeera, and tomato puree
  3. Cook it at low flame until ghee separates
  4. Add Kasuri methi
  5. Remove the whole spices and if needed can puree the gravy further to make it smooth
  6. Soak makhane and cashews in warm milk for 15 mins and grind into paste
  7. Add in the gravy stirring it. Add salt and cook it for 10 mind at low flame stirring it frequently to avoid the gravy sticking to the bottom. Add water in order to maintain medium consistency.
  8. Add paneer cubes and cook for another 5 mins
  9. Serve with parathas, naan or chapati
