- Boil water in a big enough pot/pan. Add 3 or so pinches of salt to water BEFORE boiling.
- Peel and cut potatoes in quarters.
- While the potatoes are in the water, slice the baby carrots into small pieces
- Grab a small sauce pan, put carrots in the pan…set to low heat.
- Take a little butter and toss it over carrots, stir it around until carrots get nicely glazed.
- This is optional, but you can add a pinch of salt and garlic powder to the carrots. Let them heat up until they're a little soft.
- Keep an eye on carrots so they don't burn, if they start to just turn the burner off and set aside.
- Once water is boiling, toss potatoes in… and let them sit for a while until they soften, NOT mushy. BUT you do want them a little firm still! (Little hint, if you put a wooden spoon/fork over pot it will not boil over!) :-) :-)

- Drain the potatoes, add the milk and butter to the pot.
