- In a large bowl, mix the chickpea flour with salt and the spices. Stirring with a whisk, add 1 cup water.
- Add the onions, potatoes, green chillies, dried methi leaves and baking soda to the chickpea batter. Mix well.
- Heat 1 tbsp Oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, pour one tbsp of the mixture over the oil and spread it. Allow it to cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add few drops of oil on the top and flip the pakora and cook on the other side also till done.
- Take it out and drain on paper towels.
- Serve the hot pakoras with green chutney.
