Combine sesame seeds in a shallow dish. Ponzu Sauce - Original White Ponzu recipe with Yuzu citrus. I like to serve sesame-crusted ahi tuna steaks two ways depending on how hungry we are, hehe. I cut the seared fish into thin slices serve them with Oh man, you are going to demolish each bite, the tangy-sweet soy sauce ties all of the flavors together.

- Cut the sashimi into 4 pieces and marinate in the ● ingredients for 10 minutes. Once marinated, use a paper towel to wipe off the excess liquid.

- Since you only want to pan-fry them until the sesame seeds become fragrant, be careful not to over cook. You can eat them just like that or you can cut each one in half, as I did this time.
- Put the ○ ingredients into the frying pan from Step 7. Bring it to a quick boil and then stop the heat right away.
- Arrange Step 8 on a dish and garnish with the ▲ ingredients. Cover with the sauce and top with the garlic slices. Optionally season with black pepper. I used store-bought seared skipjack tuna for the photos.
We enjoyed this meal of super fresh seared ahi. Add the cut up tuna, green onions and sesame seeds directly to the bowl of sauce and mix until combined. I am getting ready to make either salmon tartare or tuna tartare for a party. I've been scared as I've read so much about raw fish causing people to get very ill. Leave at room temperature while you cook the noodles.
