- First in a bowl add wheat flour, salt and tsp of oil, mix well, add as required water and knead semi-soft dough. Keep aside to rest for 5 mins.
- In another bowl take all leftovers of sweets and crumble them with your hands.(sweets already have nuts and cardamom in it, if u want to more add, then you can add as per your choice) keep aside.
- Now divide the dough into 3 or 4 equal portions,take a portion, dust it with flour, roll it little and add /place filling of leftover sweets in centre. nicely cover from all sides with dough and roll gently like paratha.
- Now for frying paratha heat a tawa on medium heat, place rolled paratha on it and roast it from both sides nicely using ghee.
- Yummy (kids favourite) sweet paratha is ready to serve.
To give a healthy touch to leftover khichdi paratha, I have added different types of flours available in home. I always have leftover chapati after mealtime and it becomes dry over time. I do a stir-fry, chapati upma or kothu with leftover chapati. Its a wonderful way to give life to dry chapatis. I make it all the time for my sons lunch box and he loves it.
