Instructions to make Whole-wheat beetroot pani puri:
- First in a big bowl take whole wheat flour and semolina. Then add salt,oil and baking powder. Mix well.Now add beetroot juice and Mix well. add little water,knead it and make hard dough.cover it with wet cloth and keep it aside for 20 minutes.
- Now take dough and knead it well again. Now take some portion of dough and make syliindrical shape with it and cut horizontal into small portion and make small peda with it. Then roll pedas with roller pin and make round shape puris and put these puris on cloth.
- Now in a kadai take oil,when oil is getting hot.Fry these puris until crisp. Puris are ready.
- Now for stuffing - in a bowl,take boiled black chana,mash it.Then add chopped onion, coriander leaves,cumin powder and black salt.Mix well.stuffing is ready.
- Now for spicy pani - in a blender,take Coriander leaves,mint leaves,green chilli,ginger piece,black salt,cumin powder,black pepper powder,lemon juice.Blend all ingredients well.Now transfer this into bowl and add 3 cups of water in it.Mix well.Add jaljeera powder and tamarind chutney. Spicy Pani is ready.add some boondi to it.
- Now for serving - take one puri and break it at center,put 1 tsp stuffing in it.Then add 2 tsp spicy pani in it and enjoy.
