- Get 2 cup whole wheat flour
- Make ready 3 cup bajra (millet) flour

- Take 1/4 cup yogurt
- Take 2 tbsp melted butter

Most of us are quite familiar with thepla but dhebra is still a very new cuisine for us. Thepla is made with atta (whole wheat flour) and flavoring agents like methi (fenugreek leaves), jeera etc. It is rolled thin with a rolling pin, and soft but. Methi thepla are light as well as healthy.
Instructions to make Methi thepla or dhebra:
- Firstly cleaned & wash (3-4 times) fenugreek leaves n finely chopped it, set aside
- Grate lauki, set aside
- Mix all dry ingredients then add melted butter n mix it
- Add fenugreek leaves, lauki & yogurt n mix it
- Make a soft dough with water(add slowly little by little At a time)
- Rest for 30 minutes
- Take a small ball sized dough
- Grease ur both hand palms n flattened it with ur palms
- Deep fry it on medium high flame 1. Serve with raita, chatni & chaas (Lassi)
A good snack for children who don't like greens, especially fenugreek. This way you can incorporate some greens in their diet. along with fenugreek you can also add some other greens like spinach or amaranth in the dough. Thepla is famous Gujarati Snack bread. There are many variant of theplas like dudhi thepla, methi thepa. Excess flour from the thepla and place on hot tawa.
