  3. Then in a tadka pan heat ghee and add chopped coconuts and roast them slightly (Make sure not to burn it).
  4. Then add the roasted coconut to the unniyappam batter and mix it well.
  5. Then heat an appam pan and grease oil in the cavities then pour the unniyappam batter into each cavity of the appam pan and cook in low to medium flame then flip and cook both the sides.
  6. Then transfer the unniyappams into a plate and serve.
