- I didn't measure these ingredients when I threw this together, but the above estimates should work out pretty well. If in doubt on an ingredient, use a little more or less depending on your taste. This made about a two cup serving.

- Add all remaining ingredients (diced green onion, diced sausage patty, rice, pepper, soy sauce, and salsa) and heat through.
- Transfer contents of pan to bowl, plate, or tortilla and enjoy!
Bring water and rice to a boil in a saucepan. Add rice to pan with bacon fat and toast the rice over medium-high heat, stirring often to evenly coat the grains in the bacon fat.
