  13. Use a fork to prick all over the discs before frying.
  14. Heat oil /ghee in a wok for deep frying. I used oil +1/4 cup ghee. Drop the puris one by one into the hot oil. Oil bubbles immediately. Flip and fry both sides until golden and crunchy.
