Instructions to make Veggie upma:
- Begin to roast the rava. Stir often while roasting the rava.Once the rava becomes fragrant and starts to look dry and crisp, switch off the flame and put the roasted rava on a plate and set aside.
- Now cut onion and tomato finely and wash curry leaves and chane ki daal.
- In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter).Add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds.Now add the finely chopped onions and chana dal.
- Now add finely chopped tomatoes. Roast it for 2-3 minutes then add roasted suji to it. Mix it well.
- Now add Water as required and salt also.keep it stir till ghee gets seperated.
- Your veggie upma is ready to serve. You can also add green chilli or a pinch of red chilli powder according to your taste.
