- Take 1 cup Dahi/curd
- Make ready As per taste Salt

- Prepare 2 tsp Oil
- Prepare 1 tsp Mustard seeds/rai
- Make ready 1 tsp Cumin seeds/jeera
- Get Handful Curry leaves
- Prepare 5-6 Chopped Green chillies
- Take 1 chopped onion
- Make ready 1/2 katori grated carrot
- Get 5-6 Chopped almonds
- Get Handful Green coriander leaves
- Get 1 tsp Soda
Rava Idly is an easy breakfast dish. It is very easier than the conventional idly which requires soaking , grinding, fermenting,etc. It is one of the instant breakfast variety we can do and get more appreciations from our family. Rava Idli Recipe is a soft pillowy instant suji (semolina) idli.
Steps to make Instant rava/suji Idli:
- Take a bowl and mix suji, curd, salt and water to make a batter.
- Keep aside for 1 hour.
- Then add some more water and beat it.
- Now make a tadka of rai, jeera, green chillies and onions and pour it to the batter.Also add soda in it.
- Now add grated carrots and chopped almonds in it.Mix well.
- Grease the idli moulds and cook them for 15mn.
- Serve with chutney or sauce.
It is a quick version of regular rice idli prepared with semolina and curd. Serve idli with coconut chutney and sambar for a delish South Indian style breakfast.
