- Now, turn off the gas and pour the mixture of veggies in another vessel.
- Then in the same pan pour 1 tablespoon oil and 1 teaspoon butter and let them heat for few seconds. Then add onion pieces, garlic and ginger paste and saute for few seconds.
- Now, add remaining pav bhaji masala, chilli powder and turmeric powder and saute for few more seconds.
- Then add the veggie mixture in onion garlic mixture and mix properly. Now, add salt, lemon juice and smash the mixture once. Let bhaji cook for 4-5 minutes to get all the flavors of masala.
- The last step is to roast bread with pav bhaji masala and butter. Serve pav bhaji with butter, onion tomato, papad and buttermilk.
I think next time I go home, I will make a trip to Mumbai only for the food! Street stalls selling mumbai pav bhaji often avoid cauliflower as it turns out to be expensive for them.
